About the "AngelStar Hospitality Alliance"
What brought us to the "City Different" was a desire to see, taste and experience something outside the ordinary. We read up on Santa Fe, talked to people who had been there and did as much research as possible before we arrived. What we were not prepared for was the overwhelming amount of options available in terms of dining, shopping, touring and "doing."
The same as most people that venture out on holiday, we had only 7 days or so to see and do everything. What we encountered was an abundance of options but no real guide to help us pick and choose where to go. We found ourselves asking locals and shop owners the single most asked question in Santa Fe, "Where's a good place to go for dinner?"
We seemed to manage. Some places good, some places not so good. All in all it was a great experience. An experience that led us to leave our home back east. With 2 kids in tow, we arrived. A little wiser, a little more knowledgeable than the past few visits. Then it occurred to us; Why not help the casual tourist, like ourselves, to find AND afford some of the very best that Santa Fe has to offer. That's when we began compiling information on our favorite places. The tourist benefits by having an insiders view of the best places to go while the local business benefits by increasing traffic to their places of business. Everyone wins, and it's a great way for us to give back to the place that has given us so much.
